Privacy policy

BootcampWise provides an immersive, hands-on learning experience for aspiring developers. This policy document outlines the rules and expectations for both campers and administrators, ensuring a productive, respectful, and professional learning environment.

1. General Policies

Eligibility:

  • Participants must meet the minimum eligibility requirements to enroll in BootcampWise (age, education, etc.).
  • Applicants must submit a complete application and, if required, pass a preliminary skills assessment.

Code of Conduct:

  • All campers must adhere to BootcampWise's Code of Conduct, which promotes respect, professionalism, and a positive learning experience.
  • Any form of harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate behavior is strictly prohibited.

Privacy & Confidentiality:

  • Campers must respect the privacy of their peers, instructors, and all personal data.
  • Any information shared within the BootcampWise community is confidential and must not be used for personal gain outside of the platform.

2. Campers' Responsibilities

Active Participation:

  • Campers are expected to actively participate in lessons, submit tasks on time, and attend required sessions.
  • Daily check-ins and EOD (End of Day) submissions are required for tracking progress and feedback.

Task Completion:

  • All assigned tasks and projects should be completed to the best of the camper's ability.
  • If tasks or deadlines cannot be met, campers must communicate with mentors or admins promptly to avoid penalties.

Attendance:

  • Regular attendance at live sessions, mentor meetings, and office hours is required.
  • Absences should be notified in advance, and if applicable, a valid reason should be provided.

Submission of EODs:

  • Campers are required to submit End-of-Day reports detailing what was completed, the time spent, and any blockers encountered.
  • Failure to submit EODs on time may result in delays in feedback and task progression.

3. Mentorship & Feedback

Mentor Responsibilities:

  • Mentors are responsible for guiding campers, providing constructive feedback, and helping with technical challenges.
  • Mentors must be available for scheduled meetings and offer support to help campers progress through the bootcamp.

Feedback:

  • Feedback will be provided for every completed task, EOD, and project.
  • Admins and mentors are expected to provide clear, actionable, and encouraging feedback that helps the camper improve.

4. Task & Project Guidelines

Task Assignments:

  • Tasks will be assigned to campers based on their learning track (Coding, UI/UX, etc.).
  • Each task will have specific deadlines, requirements, and evaluation criteria. Campers must follow the guidelines provided.

Revisions:

  • If a task or project needs revision, campers are required to make necessary changes and resubmit within the given timeframe.
  • Revisions will be tracked, and each camper's progress will be updated accordingly.

Plagiarism:

  • Any form of plagiarism, including copying code or submitting someone else's work as your own, will result in immediate disqualification from the bootcamp.
  • Campers are expected to submit original work, and any violations will be taken seriously.

5. Certification Policy

Eligibility for Certification:

  • Campers must complete all tasks and meet the attendance requirements to be eligible for receiving a certification of completion.
  • Certificates are awarded based on successful task completion, EOD submissions, and overall progress.

Issuance of Certificate:

  • Once a camper completes the course, a certificate will be issued, recognizing the skills they have developed.
  • Campers who pass the final project or capstone project will be eligible for the certification.

Certification Verification:

  • Admins will verify each camper's eligibility before issuing the certificate.
  • Campers can download or receive their certificate via email upon completion.

6. Code of Ethics

Professional Behavior:

  • Campers should demonstrate professional behavior when interacting with peers, mentors, and admins.
  • Respectful communication, both in-person and online, is expected at all times.

Collaboration & Integrity:

  • Collaborative learning is encouraged, but each camper must submit their individual work.
  • Ethical behavior and integrity should be upheld in all bootcamp activities.

7. Consequences of Policy Violations

Warning System:

  • First violation of the policies will result in a warning from the admin.
  • Repeated violations may result in restricted access, suspension, or removal from the program.

Immediate Removal:

  • Violations such as plagiarism, harassment, or unprofessional behavior may lead to immediate removal from BootcampWise without a refund.

8. Fees & Refunds

Enrollment Fees:

  • The enrollment fee is Applicable if you want to join 2nd Time After not completing it in first enrollment.

9. Support

Help Desk:

  • For technical or administrative inquiries, campers can contact BootcampWise support via email or the Help Desk system.

Peer Support:

  • Campers are encouraged to use community forums or peer-to-peer support channels for assistance.
